    impressive will look even better with not so dull icon theme

  2. Fabian says:

    Impressive! What’s still missing though is highlighting of the “Worked with Audio” boxes that contain the search string “The Klep”.

  3. John Stowers says:

    It appears that the search/filter box just appeared out of thin air. This is not discoverable. Please just show it all the time.

  4. Matteo says:

    Very impressive, can’t wait to use it every day!
    The GUI has finally reached a good state, but it seems to me that there is a quite big waste of space due the left&right arrows buttons. Maybe it could be improved like this:

    Yes, very impressive!

    Does Zeitgeist save with which application a document was opened?

  6. Seif Lotfy says:

    @cgable
    yes it does

    @John Stowers
    Yeah we thought about that! right now u need to press ctrl+f. We cant find a decent place to insert the search bar :/

    @John Stowers
    It is not ready for the prime time as it depends on the trunk version of tracker, once zeitgeist integrates searching we will make it display on default.

    Can’t wait to see the “vertical scrolling” version! ;P :D

    I’m not a fan of those [+] icons. Good to use the real icon theme for them, but the icon used for expander boxes is absolutely different. It creates a very heavy inconsistency.

    Any way GTK’s expander icon (or even an expander box…) could be used instead?

    IS there going to be the web log as well my computer is used almost only for web browsing?

  11. taiebot says:

    And as well zeitgest should recognize copy paste from web to an other application like inserting an image or text in my .odf. If i use the clipboard zeitgest should link the documents to the webpage like that if i research this web pages and other webpages searches at the time i have done this it could be easy..

  12. Seif Lotfy says:

    @taiebot
    Yes there will be websites with the next development iteration of GAJ, its supported by the framework. The use case is possible but we wont be able to approach that until we have close events from applications which will come with the next zeitgeist framework release…

    It feels impressive and looks awesome!

    Any thoughts of integrating Gloobus-Preview?

  14. anonim says:

    I’m missing a shortcut or icon for ‘go to today’, and a fast way to go to a concrete date. Looks very cool.

  15. RainCT says:

    @anonim:

    There is :) . When you’re not on Today, a “Today >>” link shows up on the bottom right. You can also use the “Home” key.

  16. Tomeu Vizoso says:

    Looks great! Congratulations!

  17. Hi,
    looks great!
    I’m giving it a try!
    Just one thought. What about not showing a day if there’s no activity in it? It would make searching simpler.
    cheers
    Marco

  18. Patrick Harzheim says:

    That’s a good one, empty activity days could at least be shown in a collapsed or unexpanded form.
