@Julio
This is Docky. Zeitgeist comes in only to populate the menus and later also populate the docks with most used apps or relevant documents.
You need to get docky and zeitgeist
docky: bzr branch lp:docky
zeitgeist: bzr branch lp:zeitgeist
@Lyle
The Docky guys are rocking and the cooperation is very smooth since some devs contribute to both projects
@Seif Lotfy
I dont think they even understand it. Its strange because they would work well together. I think they need a bit of leadership in this area I think.
Though I usually don’t like OS X style docks, I must say, this is a very clean and clear setup. I think Gnome Shell would greatly benefit from something like this in terms of usability.
@Seif Lotfy
Well then we just pitch our patches to the distros and they will take them on board if the gnome-shell devs dont care. From my experience the ubuntu devs like the idea but would need some cool uses for zeitgeist at the next UDS.
@Shane Fagan
Well docky will be showing most of our use cases.
1. Populating the dock with the most used apps and docs
2. Viewing docs related to other docs/contacts
3. populating menus with popular docs for apps.
4. teamgeist features to come

How can I get my hands on this Zeitgeist?
Found you on Planet Ubuntu. Checked out your Zeitgeist + Docky clip I am impressed. Best Linux dock setup I have seen so far.

Wow, it looks amazing; I like your setup:
-app management at bottom
-my computer on the left side
-misc stuff on the right side
Hello,
Very nice !
You have a project to add Zeitgesit in Gnome-Shell ?
@seb24
We do, yet I am not sure the Shell people want our functionality -.-

Reminds me of Windowmaker, of all things…

@Shane Fagan
Well you can try. We already tried and for some reasons our patches never went through!
@koala
is that bad?
@Patrick Niedzielski
It is just simple and plain. Very nice setting for my netbook.
So where are the .deb files?
It looks neat, but if you want a Mac GUI why not just buy a Mac? That arrangement probably takes up more space than a couple of GNOME panels.
Ooh, shiny. What wallpaper is that?
