My white macbook is called "Morlock" because the colour reminds me a lot of pale skin. I also had a "Leviathan" a while back at my previous job. "Bahamut" is a possible candidate for a new computer. Usually I think about what the computer will be doing and then a name sort of pops into my head. There's sort of a pattern - all very pretentious of course ;) I use names from famous books:

My workstation where I sit right now is called shihonage, which is my favourite technique.
